“The main attraction for me was being able to enjoy such high earning potential – but work under my own terms.

I used to work in a call centre seven or eight miles from where I live. I'd work three days on and then three days off, from 9am until 9.30pm. I'd be so tired from the long shifts that I'd spend all of my three days off recovering. I just felt like I had no life.

Last May I joined Hays homeworking division and everything changed. I earn just as much, if not more, but work the hours I want to. I'll log on to the switch for a few hours in the morning and then take the afternoon off to spend time with my two dogs, clean the house and cook the tea. Then I can log back on in the evenings and earn myself some great commissions. But nothing is set in stone. There are no rotas to stick to, so I'm able to be flexible around whatever comes up in the day.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to move to homeworking. I'm my own boss, I work the hours I want, I'm earning lots of money and most importantly, I'm at home spending time with my dogs!”
